The 3-day course intially covered:
a) 'Growth Profiling' to determine the growth potential of an SME.
b)Techniques for developing the operations of the business through quality management, better use of IT, and use
of lean office.
The participants were small business advisers from Chengdu, Mainyang and Leshan. The course was part of a joint Sino-British project, SOERED, which set up SME business advice agencies in 6 Chinese cities.
The half day course covered team-working, using the Belbin team roles.
The participants were the complete staff of the Chengdu EDAC (Enterprise Development and Advice Centre), one of the business development agencies set up by the joint Sino-British project (SOERED).
The 3-day course covered finding SME clients, managing projects for them, and follow-up activities.
The participants were small business advisers from Shenyang, Anshan and Dalian. A half day project management course was also delivered to a group of SME Owner-managers.The course was part of a joint Sino-British project, SOERED, which set up small business advice agencies in 6 Chinese cities.
This was an initial visit to the Shenyang BAC (Business Advice Centre) to determine training needs of the advisers. It was followed a few days later by the above course.
